Canada is a country located in North America. It is the second largest country in the world! They have a national holiday, fittingly called Canada Day celebrated on July 1st. Here are some interesting things about the place.
About 98% of Canadians can speak English, French, or both. The literacy rate is 99%, which means almost all Canadians can read and write.
Facts can be kind of boring so it’s time to talk about some notable locations. Niagara Falls is a big waterfall. Big waterfalls are cool. There is nothing else that needs to be said.
Old Quebec is like a historic district with some things for tourists. It has a few historic occurances tied to it and many other points of interest, as well as shops and other buildings. It is very popular…as well as all of the other things mentioned here.
The Calgary Stampede is a 10-day event where Calagary turns into a western town. There are games, rodeos, rides, and more. It’s almost like a western themed amusement park! It is held every July.
Those are some exciting places to go to in Canada. Of course I suppose you can’t go there right now…but maybe you could when we finally can travel. These are just three places I have listed. There are several other areas and attractions you could visit.
I think that’s obvious, though.
