Student Writer: Election Post

Hello! I’ll be discussing a presidential candidate, Roque De La Fuente. I got my information about Roque De La Fuente from Ballotpedia! Roque or “Rocky” Dela Fuente is a 2020 United States presidential candidate from the Alliance Party. Rocky won the party’s nomination and Darcy Richardson was selected to be his running mate.

Before becoming a presidential candidate, Rocky De La Fuente was a 2018 republican who sought election to the U.S Senate from California, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming. He was defeated in those states primary elections. Rocky was also a 2016 Reform Party presidential candidate. He also sought Democratic nomination for president in 2016.

On Rocky’s campaign website he discusses some issues, like healthcare, immigration, jobs & economy, education, environment, military, guns, and social security. I don’t agree nor disagree with what Rocky states since I don’t know much about politics. Since I have nothing else to say, I’m ending this blog post here so bye!

I like how you wrote ” I don’t agree nor disagree with what Rocky states since I don’t know much about politics”, its a great way to stay neutral.

  2. Good morning,

My name is Morgan and when I came across your website, I was very impressed! A mesothelioma diagnosis comes with many complications. Aside from the cancer itself, other problems like mental health can make the process even more complicated. The most common mental health conditions in cancer patients include anxiety, depression, and coping issues. A study by Psycho-Oncology found nearly 25 percent of cancer patients experience symptoms of depression. Sadly, 75% of cancer-related suicides are patients with depression.

It’s important for students and their families to know there are support groups and other resources to help them in their time of need. Studies show that patients who utilize therapy and support groups are less likely to turn to substance abuse or self-harm. For these reasons, we would love to be featured on your site. So please, let me know if you would add http://www.mesotheliomahub.com/mesothelioma/complications/mental-effects/ to your page; teachingtitans.com/helpful-links/, with the anchor text “Cancer & Depression.” I think our website could be a beneficial resource for your visitors.

Thanks for the work you do to help others and feel free to contact me with any questions.
