I completed the Google for Educators Certification, Lvl 1, this weekend. A three hour exam, finished in just under two hours. I use the G-Suite for educators for a lot of things, but this program really gave me insight to a few apps I’ve never used like Google Groups, Forms, Tasks, Hangouts, Sites, etc. I know Hangouts seems pointless as a personal user (sorry Google), but for professional or classroom purposes it’s multifaceted. Kids can be set up with video chats with other students, conversations are saved, messages are saved, and it’s all part of their class email sign-in. I’m really looking forward to implementing some of ideas in the classroom using these apps.
